I really wish I had heard of this sooner. My wife and I went and got the pork tacos and the fried chicken. Both were amazing. The tacos are small but come with a lot of meat. I felt the fried chei chicken portion was fair size. I will for sure be back.

Best dish I've had recently. Excellent food and good drink selection. Can get family style or individual servings - they are generously sized. I had a noodle dish that was very tasty and my friends were happy with their dishes as well. Staff was super friendly.

Good food. Very fast service. The fried rice, steam buns and the tuna poke was just fantastic. I'm not much into spicy food and really enjoyed myself. My friend raved about the garlic noodles!Worth a try, including drinks about $50 a person.

Amazing service and food!We visited on a Monday afternoon and they were not very busy. We came to try it while we were in town since they had great reviews on yelp. The food was really good, and the chicken that they served tasted extremely fresh! The ambiance and the look of the restaurant were very nice, and the music they were playing was great as well. My party and I all had a great time while we were here and we will definitely be coming back the next time we are in town. The pork tacos are pictured here

First of all, this is not a place for “traditional” dim-sum. I’m not saying I didn’t like the food, food was actually pretty good, but don’t expect any BBQ pork buns. Secondly, this place is really geared towards people 21-28, with blasting rap music and bottomless drinks it’s not likely a place I would bring my parents for a breakfast where we would want to talk with each other. And third, your meal will be at least $60. Again, food was good, but really honestly not nearly worth 60 bucks. Definitely worth a visit though!

Came here for dinner with a group of friends - food is OK, but on the heavy side. We ordered the fried chicken, pork buns, korean tacos, stir-fried noodles, and kale salad. The kale salad added a much-needed lightness to the meal. Enjoyed the yuzu sake drink too. Ambience is fun, geared toward twenty-somes with loud music playing.

This was an awesome suggestion, if you want someplace different to go to this would be the place.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Service here is awful. I ordered my dinner and waited 10 mins to be told that they didn’t actually get my order (I repeated my order to two different people). How incompetent is that! Do yourself a favor and skip this place

Hands down best fried chicken in SF and pairs wonderfully with the spicy garlic noodle!Tip: Make reservations. Be aware that the sound level inside is medium to high, but it’s not as loud as some nearby bars. It’s pretty fast paced also, so set appropriate expectations for that. We had no problems with service, and overall had a dining experience that may have been a little better than the previous North Beach location. Great Asian fusion food!

Wow, amazing Asian fusion. Full of flavor and creativity. Was here on a Monday and seated quicky. Great service as well. Highly recommend. And also located in a great area.

Tried the Korean Pork Tacos and Garlic Noodles with Fried Chicken. Both were delicious, service was good, and we got there around weekday lunch opening and there was plenty of space. Will be back again!

Food was good, logistics could be improved because they push the whole menu until you can finally order what you really want, but the whole experience was completely ruined 1, because they were in a rush to kick us out to empty the tables (I get the all you can eat time limit, but super uncomfortable being asked to get out of the place), and 2 because my friend had just paid for a coke, and on our way out the bouncer rudely took the coke can from him because apparently he was not supposed to take it outside (cos it could have alcohol). So we cannot stay inside nor go out with something he had just paid forThey should a have A told us we were getting kicked out before ordering the coke, and or B given him a new closed oneAlso music was so loud it made it super hard for the waiters to hear us which just made it weird

From pop-up restaurant in a bar to their own brick and mortar location — Chubby Noodle is such a success story! This located is tucked away on Grant Street — which is where all the North Beach locals hang out. They serve up a variety of Asian-inspired dishes with a San Francisco twist. We love showing up on Sunday for their *dim sum brunch* — need we say more?!

The new chubby noodle location makes me sad :(. I used to go 1/wk or 2. Not anymore. No more pork buns or chicken vermicelli, no more small cool space or chill bartenders and staff....its bigger, way louder (concrete floors, seemingly no sound baffling), fancier furniture and decor (blech), I don’t recognize any of the employees. feels like they lost what made it special for me. But the place is packed, so I must be the only one who thinks so...

Great atmosphere if you love really loud rap music. The food is amazing. Our server Molly recommended the spicy garlic noodles. I said I didn’t want too much spice so she had the kitchen leave off the jalapeños! Perfect!! Add the fried chicken you won’t regret it!

Tasty. Had friend chicken and green beans. Portions we're smaller than I think "family size" actually is (which is what server said). Would go again though.

Got the beef noodles and house special garlic noodles. Both came in large quantities, so would recommend sharing! Overall a decently priced meal, but not the best noodles I’ve ever had (I’m a picky noodle fan—I prefer hand-pulled noodles). Beef noodle sauce was a little sweet and chicken garlic noodles was more savory, so it was a good complement. They also serve many types of alcohol that I didn’t try, but seemed good. They take reservations, which is a huge plus! But will only seat you once your entire party arrives.

Great spot for Asian/Asian fusion food in North Beach! The pork tacos, kung pao chicken, and Szechuan green beans are my go-to's. The spicy garlic noodles a favorite and a must try. Delivery via Caviar within the area takes less than an hour (even during the lunch rush!) which is convenient.

The food here is so damn good, just woah. So I was told to eat the garlic noodles and Korean tacos. So I did. It did not disappoint.I also got the fried chicken and I think this was by far my favorite. The garlic noodles were also so damn good. I will definitely bear returning.

Can we hire the chef to cook for us? We love this place. A few favorites: poke tuna, pork ribs, pad thai, pork fried rice. The staff even once made a set of kid chopsticks for my son. Very sweet.

Really delicious food and fast service. Food is served family style for sharing and we ordered 3 dishes between the 2 of us which was very generous. We got the green beans, the garlic noodles with fried chicken but the standout were the Korean Pork Tacos. They were amazing!

Everything we had here was delicious - the BBQ pork egg fried rice redefined my idea of what good egg fried rice should taste like, and the pork buns and the spicy garlic noodles with fried chicken were both outstanding

We had the California bowls and they were much better than they looked. The employees are not friendly at all but the food is pretty decent. If you don't like kale I would ask for a little less. They kindof heap it on.

Wonderful food - the Sea Bass is fantastic as is the Tuna Tartar and the Mango Tapioca dessert. If you don't mind a very small restaurant with quite a bit of noise - the food definitely makes up for it. I will come back for sure.

Food looks good. Waitress and nice and friendly.Ordered the steamed pork buns and chubby fried chicken. Was a bit disappointed. The chicken was not completely dry - decent, but the outside was not crispy enough and chicken not juicy and tender enough either. The pork was slightly dry as well.Prices are also not cheap either.

Came months ago and LOVED it. This time, not as much. Food quality seemed to have gotten worse. In terms of items, the pork tacos were great. The garlic noodles didn’t have any distinct flavors, kind of a bland and burnt flavor. And the shrimp was much too salty. Also the pork buns were really good. They also don’t take same day reservations and tend to have a line

Small, packed and if you aren't on your game you might be challenged with parking and a wait for seating. Once you are seated you are in for something special. Went with a few friends and shared so we can get a chance to try different things. The flat iron steak and sea bass was my absolute favorite. Cooked perfectly both were filled with good flavor and made flawless- not over cooked. I often worry about salt being the assault weapon with these types of dishes, nope not here.

The only redeeming quality here was the complimentary bottle of tap water (pictured). Two people. The two dishes itself I would rate at a 4/10 and a 2/10, but that's not enough to leave a poor review. The meals came at the 10 minute mark and the 35 minute mark. After 10 minutes of waiting, I told my guest to start eating. By then it had cooled off. I waited another 10 minutes, asked if they can cancel the order. They kept saying it's coming. It didn't. 35 minutes for chicken wings. I could have caught and cooked one faster. What a disaster of a place.

I didn't actually eat the food because I refused to pay $45 ($66 after fees taxes and automatic gratuity). Guess I should've looked at the menu before coming. I did however get to hear my friends complain about how overpriced inauthentic & bad the food was. The noodles were likened to chef boyardee. They also hustle you out of there to get their next victims in the door.

Love that Chubby Noodle is back where it all started. Chubby Noodle originally started as a pop up in the back of the kitchen at Amante. Once it gained some popularity it open up a small location up on Grant street. It's great to see it move back to where it started in a larger space. The food and new drink menu are great. It has the staples of Korean Pork Tacos, Garlic Noodles, Fried Chicken and some new great options like Ramen which is amazing.

Amazing brunch! Make sure you have a reservation, as it gets full super quickly. The brunch is $37pp for all you can eat and drink. You will definitely get your money's worth, as service is fast and attentive, and the multiple waiters will make sure you have food around. There are 13 different dishes to choose from and, though we didn't get to have them all because we got full before we could, we definitely recommend everything we did try. The Peking duck buns were especially good, and fun to boot, as you get to make them yourself. The hot and sour soup was incredible, and the pork buns were the best I've ever had.

Waiter was indifferent and unattentive. They forgot one of my dishes until after waiting a long time, I hailed the waiter who was ignoring me. They played vulgar, obscene music blasting. Not family friendly at all. Small option of menu items all on one page.No air condition, they cracked open the windows. It was getting hot and uncomfortable. I would not recommend anyone to go there. If I could give them zero stars, I would! So disappointing that our last night visiting San Francisco put a bad lasting memory of the Golden Gate city based on this one bad experience

Really good food and very fast service. Delicious Asian fusion food that you can't really go wrong with anything you order, so just get your favorites. Everything is served family style, so get 2-3 dishes for each 2 people and share them. The food comes surprisingly quickly for how good it is, and the place is very crowded, but not too loud to become obnoxious. My one knock on Chubby Noodle is the seating itself, the chairs and tables were uncomfortably narrow and tough to deal with; I would choose to sit at the bar next time. Otherwise, a great all-around experience that I would highly recommend.
